We started on first of January, on jeeps have reached prior to the beginning of gorge Diamir, and have passed with a caravan of porters to a small village at height of 2700 meters. Now again winter, as if déjà vu, here again coldly. On a decline ahead a wall rose Nanga... Looks terribly.

Next day have come to last structures on a valley, we will spend the night. Here it is not enough snow, but awfully coldly is acclimatisation process has begun. We have not got used yet, therefore the height 3800 is perceived twice hard. But anything, in a week we will be as it should be, and we can transfer a cold easier. Evening have spent in this Pakistan small house, where through walls a wind is coming. Temperature, I think, a minus fifteen. Anything is not present worse, has not acclimatised yet to an oxygen lack. I was hammered into a sleeping bag in a corner. I will now be turned completely and - reason farewell!

Casually or not, but we already in Base. Here it is easier. All was established for a long time. Now, this camp - our house for some weeks. Have reached it very easily, without problems for three days, it even in the summer a rarity. Because malt liquors very well and quickly worked, today have received money for four days, plus tip, and happy have fallen down in a valley.

Any more so it is cold, as the last days. Because on the move it is heavier to put on, take care in heat, all time something is necessary or for someone to wait. And now we at itself. Simone two months ago has paid the companies work for the local. They have come here without loads, have constructed high walls round the big clearing, and have covered with the Chinese dark blue film. Now inside we have put tent, and paradise besides :)

altitude is 4200 only has turned out simply... In comparison with Base under Gasherbrum here is... I will not be afraid to repeat - paradise :) Bushes around, a grass, a glacier behind a moraine, and we on a ground. The sun leaves at 10.50 beams to warm our stay... In case of unforeseen problems from here all day of a way prior to the beginning of road where will pick up the car, and will whirl away to Islamabad. There is a pair of interesting ideas and concerning the ascension.

Мы стартовали первого января, на джипах доехали до начала ущелья Диамир, и прошли с караваном носильщиков до небольшой деревушки на высоте 2700 метров. Первый день дороги с пакистанцами всегда самый сложный, потому что проблемы вылезают, которые надо решать. Остановились ночевать в школе, построенной для поселка Сер пару лет назад Месснером. :) У детей все равно каникулы.

Теперь опять зима, словно дежа-вю, и здесь холодно. На закате впереди стеной поднималась Нанга... выглядит жутко.

На следующий день пришли в последние строения по долине, будем ночевать. Снега здесь очень мало, зато ужасно холодно – это начался процесс акклиматизации. Мы еще не привыкли, поэтому высота 3800 воспринимается вдвойне тяжело. Но ничего, через неделю будем в порядке, и сможем переносить холод легче. Вечер провели в этом пакистанском домике, где сквозь стены ветер сифонит. Температура, думаю, минус пятнадцать. Ничего нет хуже, пока не акклиматизировался к недостатку кислорода. Я забился в спальный мешок в уголку. Сейчас завернусь полностью и – разум прощай!

Случайно или нет, но мы уже в Базе. Здесь легче. Все установилось надолго. Теперь, этот лагерь – наш дом на несколько недель. Дошли до него очень легко, без проблем за три дня, это даже летом редкость. Потому что портеры очень хорошо и быстро работали, сегодня получили деньги за четыре дня, плюс чаевые, и довольные свалили в долину.

Уже не так холодно, как в предыдущие дни. Потому что на ходу тяжелее одеваться, беречь себя в тепле, надо все время чего-то или кого-то ждать. А нынче мы у себя. Симоне два месяца назад оплатил компании работу для местных. Они пришли сюда налегке, построили высокие стены вокруг большой полянки, и накрыли китайской синей пленкой. Теперь внутри мы поставили палатку, и получился просто рай :)

К тому же, высота лишь 4200... по сравнению с Базой под Гашербрумом здесь... не побоюсь повториться – рай :) Кусты вокруг, трава, ледник за мореной, а мы на грунте. Солнце выходит в 10.50 лучами согреть нашу бытность... В случае непредвиденных проблем отсюда всего день пути до начала дороги, где подберет автомобиль, и умчит в Исламабад. Есть пара интересных идей и по поводу самого восхождения.

Урра! Мечта – рядом. Только руки подлиннее, чтобы до нее достать.
