The spring I spent in Italy, in rocky paradise. Now arrived at home to Kazakhstan, here are lot of mountains also. Locate very close. About twenty years ago this accent guide me here from Russia.

Nearby to Almaty there is the small rocky file located near the “Foresters office”. On road on mountain skating rink Medeo, also it is possible to reach here very easily - by the bus № 6. And rocks to find even easier. They rise just five kilometers before Medeo directly near to one of emergency dams which in the people named "Lattice".

Once volunteers-rock-climbers by  and shovels took out from the basis a heap of stones, also it has turned out very much even anything to itself rock. About twenty five meters. It was possible to train.

Basically, here climbed with the upper beleing. But once the "CAMP" firm has struck me twenty SpitS, and I have reflected, where them to apply. Eleven of them it was possible to arrange directly on the centre of rocks on the "Foresters area". The quite good line also has turned out. For couple of days by assistance of Leonid Krupa we have punched a route. And deal it is necessary for a little - to climb! Also because "La-Sportiva" presented good rock-climbing shoes.

At the evening the girls of our mountaineering team “The North Face” were agree to take me for rock-climbing. The driver Alina Galeeva, the navigator Elina Vasilieva, and climbing partner Sofia Yuzeeva… Eh! Wat is possible to dream else?!

In general, rocky preparation proceeds. The matter is that there is a thought in September to go on Ushba. There, on Caucasus there lives my friend Benedikt Kashikashvili. Which is inviting for a long time already on a visit, to drink wine and to admire declines in Svanetia. Here only was not represented to an opportunity. But once I have understood, that I wish to climb through an interesting line on a wall of the most beautiful Caucasian mountain. Also has persuaded Simone Moro to keep itself the company. Here… with Igor Chaplinskii (Ukrainian) has discussed. And it is similar, that will gather this year under Ushba interesting small festival of mountaineering in style Never Stop Exploring. A little party on which only and cares will be - to climb beautifully!

Весну я провел в Италии. В скальном раю. Теперь оказался дома, в Казахстане, где горы тоже прямо под боком. В общем-то, именно это обстоятельство двадцать лет назад привело меня сюда из России.

Неподалеку от Алматы есть небольшой скальный массив, расположенный возле Лесничества. По дороге на горнолыжный каток Медео, и добраться сюда можно очень легко – на автобусе № 6. А скалы найти еще легче. Они высятся за пять километров до Медео, прямо рядом с одной из селезащитных плотин, которую в народе называют «Решетка».

Когда-то добровольцы-скалолазы ломами и лопатами отгребли от основания кучу камней, и получилась очень даже ничего себе скалка. Около двадцати пяти метров. Можно было тренироваться.

В основном, здесь лазили с верхней страховкой. Но однажды фирма "КЭМП" ударила меня двадцатью Спитами, и я задумался, куда их применить. Одиннадцать из них удалось расположить прямо по центру скал на Лесничестве. И получилась неплохая трасса. За пару дней с помощью Леонида Крупы мы пробили маршрут. И дело осталось за малым – лазить! Благо, "Ля-Спортива" выдала клевые скальные туфли.

Вечером девушки нашей альпинисткой секции “The North Face” согласились взять с собой на скалы. За рулем Алина Галеева, штурман Элина Васильева, напарник по связке София Юзеева… эх! О чем еще можно мечтать?!

В общем, скальная подготовка продолжается. Дело в том, что есть мысль в сентябре отправиться на Ушбу. Там, на Кавказе живет мой друг Бено Кашикашвили. Который уже давно зовет в гости, пить вино и любоваться закатами в Сванетии. Вот только оказии все не представлялось. Но однажды я понял, что хочу пролезть интересную линию по стене красивейшей Кавказской горы. И уговорил Симоне Моро составить себе компанию. Вот… Еще с Игорем Чаплинским (из Украины) обсудил. И похоже, что соберется в этом году под Ушбой интересный ма-а-аленький фестиваль альпинизма в стиле Never Stop Exploring. Междусобойчик, на котором только и забот-то будет – лазить красиво!
